Man Utd players ‘can’t see Ole’s plan beyond running’

Manchester United’s players are struggling to see a clear plan from manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, according to reports.

Matty Longstaff’s goal on his Premier League debut for Newcastle United saw the Red Devils beaten 1-0 on Sunday.

United boss Solskjaer was left facing more questions following an 11th successive game without an away win which leaves his side in 12th place – just two points above the bottom three.

And The Sun claims that ‘the players cannot see what the plan is beyond a lot of running’ after they put in another poor display at St James’ Park.

Solskjaer managed some success as temporary manager due to United’s brilliant counter-attacking play but that has been rumbled by opponents and ‘there is no plan B’.

The Sun adds that ‘Solskjaer is keeping the hairdryer on full in an effort to jerk the players into life.’

After defeat to the Magpies, Solskjaer ‘claimed Championship clubs were currently playing better than them’ and that he was ‘mystified by their lack of commitment’ from his players.
