Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte has claimed that Alexis Sanchez is not yet ready to start for the club following his summer transfer from Man United.
Sanchez who is on a season-long loan from Man United has made only a 10-minute cameo appearance for Inter Milan since he made the move. Therefore, the Chile international will not be handed his first start when his side welcomes Lazio on Wednesday night.
Conte spoke ahead of the game: ‘For him it is worth the words I give for everyone else.
‘When I see ready players, they will be inserted [into the starting line-up]. I have to work in the interest of Inter, not of individuals.’
Meanwhile, Antonio Conte who replaced Luciano Spalletti in the summer is pleased with his squad depth after the arrival of the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Nicolo Barella, Diego Godin, amongst others.
He added: ‘Of [Romelu] Lukaku, I have said far and wide what I think, it seems to me superfluous to repeat it again.
‘For the midfielders, on the other hand, I am happy. Beyond those who score, the more arrows we have available to our bow, the better.’
