Real Madrid vs Club Brugge He scored Madrid’s second goal
Real Madrid came back to draw 2-2 against Club Brugge on Tuesday, and Casemiro stressed that Los Blancos‘ players always put in an effort to win their games.
The Brazilian insisted that Madrid should follow the example of their performance in the second half of the match against the Belgians.
“In the first half we didn’t do well,” Casemiro said.
“I didn’t see the fans leaving [the stadium] angry and in the second half they supported us a lot.
“I haven’t seen them supporting us as much as today.
“We have to play like we did the second half, and we should never ask for forgiveness because we always try to do our best.”
Although Eden Hazard has struggled to adapt to his new surroundings, Casemiro believes that the Belgian is still one of the best players in the world.
“[Hazard] is trying, but football is [about] goals,” he noted.
“We know he is among the world’s top five [players] and it is normal to have a period of adaptation.”
