The form of Chelsea’s youngsters has been recognised by Gareth Southgate in his latest England squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Bulgaria.

Mason Mount, Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham have all been selected by the Three Lions boss to represent their country, with Ross Barkley another Blues representative in the 25.

Mount and Barkley are said to have been in competition in regards to a spot in the Stamford Bridge outfit’s starting XI since pre-season, and it is the former who has stolen a march. He has scored four goals in the Premier League already this term, whilst Barkley has started just one of the last three games in the top tier.

The former Everton man had started six of the last seven England fixtures but, according to The Daily Mail, Southgate is thinking of replacing him with 20-year-old Mount on Friday.
