William Carvalhos injury problems are giving Real Betis a headache

Real Betis Javi Garcia is only replacement

William Carvalho‘s injury problems have returned during the international break.

The midfielder left Portugal‘s training camp earlier this week after suffering from problems in his back.

This is a concern for Real Betis, who only have Javi Garcia to replace William in the centre of midfield.

Rubi has used William alongside Andres Guardado in the holding midfield roles for Betis this season, but now he’s going to have to find a different solution.

William had originally been suffering from calf problems before starting to feel pain in his back as well.

Betis‘ medical staff have confirmed that he has suffered a herniated disk and the Andalusian club will do further tests to find out the extent of how long he will be unavailable for.
