It kicks off on Saturday at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT), click here for a match preview.
The 50-year-old tactician announced he had leukaemia in July and has already completed two courses of chemotherapy at a clinic in Bologna, but kept up to date with his squad and staff using videolink technology.
He spent a week at home in Rome with his family and today took charge of training at the Casteldebole ground in Bologna.
It remains to be seen if Mihajlovic will be on the touchline in Turin this weekend, because there are weather warnings for cold and rain.
After chemotherapy, the immune system is depleted, and any common cold or chill can be potentially very damaging.
Miha is particularly eager to be there in Turin, because he is good friends with Juventus Coach Maurizio Sarri.
Sky Sport Italia point out they first got together after Sampdoria faced Empoli in January 2015 and Mihajlovic asked if he could observe some of Sarri’s training sessions to learn from the Serie A newcomer.
He did spend four days watching the sessions, talking about football and going out to dinner.
