Real Madrid Galician takes criticism fairly
Zinedine Zidane trusts Lucas Vazquez, hence why the Spaniard had been one of the most used players this season, and the midfielder has made clear he always notices the love of the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Disappointment in Paris has been forgotten somewhat due to Los Blancos strong domestic form, and Vazquez hopes to be able to end the season with at least one more party at Cibeles.
“I have always felt the support of the Bernabeu during these five seasons,” Vazquez intimated in an interview with MARCA.
“I always notice when the crowd shows me affection, I’m very happy with that.
“We know that we’re at Real Madrid and that we are exposed to people’s opinions, you have to be calm.”
Having not been utilised against Granada on Saturday, the Spaniard maintains that it’s a squad game.
“We have a deep and very talented squad,” he added.
“We’re all exposed to that.
“We have understood that one match you might lose your place to a teammate.”
Injuries have really plagued Los Merengues’ campaign this far, however Vazquez believes that it’s something that will pass, especially as the group had a good pre-season.
“We don’t know why we’re having so many injuries,” he confirmed.
“These are complicated streaks, but we will try and get through them as soon as possible.
“Pre-season was good, just like the one two years ago, we prepared very well and worked hard.”
