Spanish government assures it can guarantee safety for October 26 Clasico

Real Madrid Not worried about problems

Spanish Minister of the Interior Fernando Grande-Marlaska insists that Spain have the means to manage next weekend’s Clasico meeting at the Camp Nou between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The two go head to head on October 26 and due to the current situation in Barcelona there have been talks of the game being postponed or moved to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

“In no case have we been the ones to request it be postponed,” he said to RAC1.

“We have the necessary means to guarantee the safety of Barcelona-Madrid.

“If they play on the 26th, we’ll adopt the necessary measures so that it can be played.”
