Reus They won an appeal
Reus Deportiu will be allowed to re-enter the Spanish football pyramid at the third tier following their original expulsion from the Segunda B this season.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport have overturned the club’s administrative demotion out of the Segunda B for failing to pay debts.
That’s according to reports from Iusport.
However, Reus‘ place in the Segunda B this season has already been taken by Gerard Pique-owned Andorra FC, who paid the debts of 452,000 euros to claim the spot in the third tier.
Even after just eight matches, it looks too late for Reus to be re-entered in the league this season, as that would cause all sorts of problems for FC Andorra and their opponents so far.
As a result, it seems as though Reus will have to wait until next season to start life in the Segunda B.
