Zinedine Zidane has opted to go for his first-choice midfield trio of Casemiro, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric for the visit of Club Brugge on Tuesday evening, with the Croat starting his first match since returning from injury.

James Rodriguez and Ferland Mendy are unavailable due to injury, while Gareth Bale has been left out of the squad as a precaution after playing the two decisive away matches at Sevilla and Atletico Madrid in the last 10 days.
