LaLiga Wants to stay for now
Mikel Oyarzabal has made it clear that he’s not thinking about leaving from Real Sociedad any time soon.
The Spain international has impressed for La Real so far this season and has been tipped for a move to a bigger club.
“I’ve said many times that I’m not thinking about anything else other than doing the best I can at La Real,” Oyarzabal told COPE and Radio MARCA.
“I feel very comfortable, loved and spoilt, and this is the most important thing.
“It’s been my home since I arrived, for the way that they’ve treated me, and I’m very happy to be where I am.
“Those that know me well know that I’m a relaxed person and that, whatever happens, I more or less stay calm.”
Oyarzabal has been playing alongside Martin Odegaard at Real Sociedad and the Spaniard spoke highly of his club teammate.
“The truth is that he’s a different player, one of those that’s easier to point out,” he said about Odegaard.
“He likes having the ball, being instrumental… And then you have to notice the professional that he is throughout the week.”
Oyarzabal was speaking from Spain‘s national team training camp, where he is becoming more and more involved.
“I’ve come very few times, but the youngsters are always received very well,” he noted.
“I’m very happy to be here, I come to enjoy myself and learn.”
