According to a recent report from Kicker, Bayern Munich sensation Thomas Muller received offers from Inter Milan, AC Milan and over in China during the summer transfer window – but made the executive decision to remain at Bayern. Alas, just a few months later, now that he isn’t receiving the kind of playing time he so desires, he’s prepared to leave the German giants in search of something new.
While moving to China seems like the cheap way out for the World Cup winner, it’s certainly a viable option, especially when you consider the finances that would be involved.
A switch to Italy could be equally as intriguing, but either way, it feels like Bayern could be making a notable mistake by allowing such a tenured star to walk out of the door.
Then again, they do seem fairly intent on putting the focus on the new guard instead of the old these days.
