According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Manchester United have reached a verbal agreement with Juventus to sign Mario Mandzukic during the January transfer window. The veteran forward has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford for quite some time now, with the belief being that they just weren’t able to come to terms on the right kind of deal during the summer transfer window. Now, though, United seem to have put the right pieces in place to ensure that they can secure the signing of Mandzukic – whether it be on a loan basis or a permanent one.
It’s no secret that United are struggling for options in regards to their attacking choices, and someone like Mandzukic would seriously help their cause. Either way, though, it feels as if this saga isn’t going to conclude anytime soon, which isn’t the ideal scenario for any of the parties involved here.
