Makeup and Beauty Blog Monday Poll, Vol. 647

1. One piece of clothing you wear year after year?

My black Zella leggings since they’re SOOOO COMFY, and comfy is my new M.O. I’m done– ABSOLUTELY DONE!– using unpleasant clothing. The Zellas are incredibly soft and keep me warm (however not too warm). They also have enough compression to wait in without making me seem like a sausage ready to rupture. Most significantly, they don’t fall down.

2. One piece of clothing you ‘d never wear?

Uh … Hmm … The red latex costume Britney Spears used in the Oops! … I Did It Again Video!.?.!? The product doesn’t appear like it breathes effectively, and I ‘d most likely pop the seams out while doing squats and such. LOL!

3. A great book you ‘d advise to a pal?

Where the Crawdads Sing, by Delia Owens. I read it a while back, and it’s one of those books that sticks to you. I could not put it down. Plus, the writing is beautiful!

4. Secret to hosting an excellent party?

Releasing that perfect picture you have in your head of how things will go, since when you accept that things will, in truth, not go as planned, it’s alllll gravy.

…”adult drinks” aid. HAHAHA!

5. An appeal pattern you don’t (or didn’t) comprehend?

Full-on red eyeshadow/eyeliner with no neutrals or browns to ground the color. I suggest, I totally get the look is artsy and edgy, but does anybody actually look good with it on?

6. Favorite dining establishment?

The State Room Brewery in San Rafael, due to the fact that their pizzas are bomb, and they have a different gluten-free kitchen (El Hub has Celiac).

7. One place you could happily go to for the rest of your life?

Kauai! I like the village feel of it, the gorgeous hikes, the remote beaches and waterfalls and monk seals and turtles and tropical birds and papaya, guava, mango, pineapple … AHHH!

8. One charm item you’ve been using a lot lately?

I’ve been placing on a couple of drops of Fresh Kombucha Antioxidant Facial Treatment Essence every early morning and evening after I wash my face, and my skin has been so delighted. It’s not as tight and dry considering that I’ve been using it and seems smoother and more even-toned.

9. What color (or colors) are most of your clothing?

I use a great deal of black and gray, which I didn’t understand up until I restructured my shirts by color not long back (I formerly arranged whatever by sleeve length, so tank tops, tees, long sleeves, etc.). I’ve never ever hesitated of wearing vibrant clothes, so this was kinda shocking to me … I should’ve blacked out or something while I was Konmari-ing my closet one day.
