Loads of Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been discussing the club’s new manager options following a disastrous performance and result against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
Spurs were looking to bounce back from the humiliating 7-2 defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League when they travelled to the Amex, but within three minutes they were 1-0 down and lost Hugo Lloris to a serious elbow injury.
The north London outfit now lie 13 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool just eight matches into the season, while they have already been knocked out of the Carabao Cup by League Two Colchester United.

Naturally, some supporters have already been calling for other managers to come in with Jose Mourinho and Julian Nagelsmann just two that have been mentioned previously, and fans were having their say again following the defeat on the south coast.
While one said “I’d rather get relegated with Poch” than have the likes of Eddie Howe, Brendan Rodgers or Nuno Santo, another said they would “100% take Rodgers”.
Perfect Poch replacement?
Mourinho
Allegri
Rodgers
Ancelotti
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
Eddie Howe? Nuno? Rodgers?
I’d rather get relegated with Poch.

I just want a winner if we’re replacing him. That’s all I ask.

We need a manager with winning experience… without it we might as well stick with Poch anyway #COYS

Levy, will go for Howe as he will be happy to work with a low transfer budget.

Exactly, none of these are good enough.

I’d take Howe. Thatd show ambition and not just blind, “hire the guy who everyone has heard of.” But other than that no thank you.

I’d take Rogers tomorrow.
