Elliott Management Corporation have released a statement denying any talks with Bernard Arnault or his group.
A report on Saturday’s La Repubblica suggested that Elliott are in talks with French billionaire Bernard Arnault and his group LVMH Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton SE, over the sale of Milan.
The quoted price was €960m and it was also claimed that Arnault wants Massimiliano Allegri as coach.
Denials for the story already arrived from Antoine Arnault, the son of Bernard, saying that the rumour ‘has no foundations whatsoever’ and that his family are not interested in buying Milan. Now, Elliott Management Corporation has also made a denial:
“Elliott categorically denies the rumors concerning the interest of Bernard Arnault and the LVMH group in acquiring Milan. Elliott confirms the club is not for sale,” an Elliott spokesperson told ANSA.
