Max Allegri is again linked with the Manchester United job and would reportedly take Patrice Evra as part of his coaching staff.
The former Juventus Coach has repeatedly been mentioned as a candidate for the role to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Now the Daily Mail suggests Allegri is not only preparing for a life at Old Trafford, but that he’d do it with his ex-Juve defender Evra as an assistant.
The rumour mill went into overdrive after Evra posted on social media an image of him setting next to Allegri as they watched Tottenham’s Champions League home loss to Bayern Munich in London.
“So great to watch a match with you guys. I love the knowledge we share together and the advice and I know the future is bright for all of us,” wrote Evra.
It would be a return to Manchester United for the Frenchman, who played here from 2006-14.
