Manchester United prodigy Angel Gomes has given Ole Gunnar Solskjaer something to think about after scoring twice during England U20s 2-2 draw against Italy in Parma.
The 19-year-old is one of the many youngsters that have been inducted into the Norwegian’s side this season after a summer transfer period that saw two attackers and a midfielder leave without being sufficiently replaced.
United signed Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James but their lack of depth has been exposed by a number of injuries to key players including Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.
